Flip the shaft 180degrees and drive on the exposed end that you just removed the cap from in order to remove the opposite cap.

That looks like a factory u joint. All i had to do was unbolt the end at the differential and then slide the spline out to replace the u. At this point the back half of the shaft will be free so hang onto it.
